Soccer Recap: Palma Comes Up Short

Palma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alisal Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Alisal this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in January.

Palma's record now sits at 1-9-5. As for Alisal, their win bumped their record up to 7-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Palma will challenge rival Greenfield at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Alisal is set to face off against their familiar foe North Salinas at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
