Volleyball Recap: Davidson Fine Arts Takes a Loss

The Davidson Fine Arts Titans didn't have quite enough to beat the Grovetown Warriors on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Jane Pennington paced Davidson Fine Arts' offense, picking up eight kills. Pennington got some help from Evelyn Shaw and her eight assists. Brooklyn Moss controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Abi Widener was the offensive standout of the contest as she had four digs and two aces.

Davidson Fine Arts now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Grovetown, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Davidson Fine Arts has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lakeside on the 12th. As for Grovetown, they will face off against Evans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
