Volleyball Game Preview: St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats vs. Balboa Buccaneers + How To Watch

The St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Balboa Buccaneers at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Archbishop Riordan as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-17.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryce Killion, who had 19 digs. Those 19 digs gave Killion a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Valerie Chu, who had 18 assists and five digs.

Meanwhile, Balboa made easy work of Jefferson on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Buccaneers haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Balboa walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-21, 25-21.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Balboa, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
