Baseball Recap: Olympic Comes Up Short

Olympic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Hickory Ridge Bulls, falling 17-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 11-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Olympic's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Hickory Ridge, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulls beat Olympic by a score of 16-0 later that day.
