Baseball Recap: Brookville Comes Up Short

Brookville extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 6-14. They lost 12-2 to the Dayton Christian WARRIORS. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered against the WARRIORS since May 15, 2019.

As for Dayton Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-11. That ten-run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For Dayton Christian's part, Gabe Knopp spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits. Knopp is becoming a predictor of the WARRIORS' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 7-10 when he doesn't).
