Soccer Game Preview: Valley vs. Hope Christian + How To Watch

Valley is 0-10 against Hope Christian since October of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vikings will square off against the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Hope Christian heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Valley took over last week. The Vikings came out on top against Taos by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, St. Pius X kept up with Hope Christian until halftime on Saturday, but afterwards: not so much. The Huskies put the hurt on the Sartans with a sharp 5-2 victory. Fans of Hope Christian have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those six contests. As for Hope Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Valley might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Hope Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
