Preview: Arbor View Aggies vs. Spring Valley Grizzlies
Two dominant guards in Sanai Branch and Mia Ervin are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Arbor View Aggies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spring Valley Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Arbor View is ranked 26th, while Spring Valley is ranked 33rd).
Last Friday, Arbor View was able to grind out a solid victory over Las Vegas, taking the game 45-36. The win was just what Arbor View needed coming off of a 92-29 loss in their prior matchup.
Spring Valley suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Palo Verde by a score of 54-51. Spring Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Arbor View is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Spring Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
