Basketball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon lost against Moultonborough Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lisbon Panthers fell 37-24 to the Moultonborough Academy Panthers. Lisbon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Moultonborough Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lisbon will venture away from home to challenge Profile at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lisbon is facing Profile at the right time seeing as Profile is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Moultonborough Academy, they will head out to take on Inter-Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moultonborough Academy will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Inter-Lakes will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's game.
