The Lake Region Thunder will venture away from home to square off against the George Jenkins Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lake Region comes in on four and George Jenkins on three.

On Thursday, Lake Region got the win against Fort Meade by a conclusive 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Makenna Meadows made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
