Softball Recap: San Mateo Comes Up Short

San Mateo was the 8-6 winner over Carlmont when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats fell 15-12 to the Scots on Thursday. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alice Han led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachel Warner, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

San Mateo's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Carlmont, their win bumped their record up to 7-18.

As of now, neither San Mateo nor the Scots have any future games scheduled.
