Dionisio Roman of Delaware Valley ran for the longest rushing play in Mid-State 38 - Raritan this season against North Plainfield last week. Roman scampered for 91 yards on the play and finished with 365 on the day as his team beat the Canucks.
Summit extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Warren Hills Regional, 41-14. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Abraham Clark's dynamic duo of Jason McRae and James Womble proved tough for Hillside to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McRae threw for 117 yards and Womble had 144 yards receiving. Jean Athis helped Abraham Clark's passing attack out by catching one ball for 25 yards.
The Rams' Tyrone Crutchfield and Womble have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Crutchfield has thrown for 766 yards this season, while Womble, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 20 catches for 368 yards. Roman from Delaware Valley leads the league in rushing with 1059 yards.
A big matchup in Mid-State 38 - Raritan this week will be when Mike Columbo's team takes on Summit. The Terriers are currently in third, while the Hilltoppers are in first.
Johnson made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,659 from 4,352. The improvement came about via a 35-7 victory over Somerville last week.
