Recap: Northgate Vikings vs. McIntosh Chiefs
The Northgate Vikings pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to McIntosh. Northgate was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as McIntosh apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

It was another big night for Kendall Davis, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 15 rebounds for McIntosh. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Claudia Meditz was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.
Northgate has not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season. As for McIntosh, their victory bumped their record up to 10-15.
Northgate will head out on the road to take on Union Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Grove will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Northgate surely won't give up without a fight. McIntosh is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Jones County at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th. McIntosh will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Jones County is ranked 45th).
