After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eagle, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Flowing Wells Caballeros 9-8. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

John Sunukjian and Noah Miller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Sunukjian pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Miller struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.
