Baseball Recap: White Deer Takes a Loss

White Deer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 29-3 to the Memphis Cyclones.

Caynden Mynear made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Foster Black, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

White Deer's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Memphis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.

Coming up, White Deer will be playing at home against Shamrock at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Memphis, they will face off against San Jacinto Christian Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. San Jacinto Christian Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Memphis likes a good challenge.
