Volleyball Recap: Cailey Leister Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy came out on top against Vinemont by a score of 2-0.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cailey Leister, who had 13 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Bree Benich, who had 12 digs.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They are 10-4 when they serve at least ten aces.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy now has a winning record of 18-17. As for Vinemont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-7.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hayden on the 20th. As for Vinemont, they will host Cold Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
