Softball Recap: Greenon Comes Up Short

Greenon managed to slip by Bethel the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 12-4 to the Bees on Saturday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bees apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

Haley Ivon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sophie Blessing, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Greenon and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Bethel, their record now sits at 3-4.

While Greenon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
