Softball Recap: Saginaw Takes a Loss

Saginaw fell victim to Aledo and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bearcats, falling 20-0. The Rough Riders haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Saginaw's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Aledo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saginaw will venture away from home to challenge Chisholm Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aledo, they will head out to face off against Boswell at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bearcats 1.5, the Pioneers 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
