Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Gunn's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Gunn unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Branham Bruins, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since April 4th.

Gunn was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Branham work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 32-30, 25-18.

Gunn's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Branham, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.

Gunn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Branham, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lynbrook on the 15th.
