Soccer Recap: Hackettstown Comes Up Short

Hackettstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Phillipsburg Stateliners. Hackettstown were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Phillipsburg apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Hackettstown's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-2. As for Phillipsburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6-1 record this season.

Hackettstown will take on Warren Hills Regional at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Phillipsburg, they will welcome Delaware Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
