Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shenendehowa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacey Bitter, who had six digs and three assists. That's the most assists Bitter has posted since back in September.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Guilderland rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wolfpack.
Guilderland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-21.
Shenendehowa's record is now 31-8-3. As for Guilderland, their record now sits at 17-9-1.
Shenendehowa was able to grind out a solid victory over Guilderland when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Plainsmen repeat their success, or do the Flying Dutchmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
