Burns had won nine straight home games and Bailey Grayson did her part to make it ten on Wednesday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Highland Tech Rams with plenty of help from Grayson, who had 24 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

While Burns might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Highland Tech scored at least 22 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 17-25, 25-22.

Burns' victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Highland Tech, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-3.

Burns has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Cherryville on the 2nd. As for Highland Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against West Lincoln on the 2nd.
