Baseball Recap: Anaheim's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Anaheim can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past the Los Amigos Lobos 11-2. The Colonists not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 20th (when they won 28-0).

Alonzo Esparza was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gilbert Bedoy, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles.

Anaheim's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Los Amigos, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Anaheim will head out to square off against Artesia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Colonists surely won't give up without a fight. Los Amigos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
