Baseball Recap: Pinson Valley Comes Up Short

Pinson Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Brookwood Panthers.

Pinson Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elvin Tecalco, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Pinson Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Brookwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Pinson Valley has already played their next contest, a 19-0 victory against Midfield on the 10th. As for Brookwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-5 loss against Gulf Shores on the 10th.
