Softball Recap: Colome Triumphs

Colome took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Parkston, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cowboys came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cowboys have posted since April 12th.

Colome's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Parkston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Parkston wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 loss against Winner on the 13th. Hopefully Colome paid attention to the Trojans' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trojans on Tuesday.
