Baseball Game Preview: Southern Alamance Patriots vs. Triton Hawks

The Southern Alamance Patriots will face off against the Triton Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern Alamance will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Southern Alamance is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over West Carteret. Southern Alamance's win was all the more impressive since West Carteret was averaging only 3.83 runs allowed on the season.

Meanwhile, Triton won against South Central on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Hawks won by a run and slipped past C.B. Aycock 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Triton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Wilson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double. Another was Alan Hinson, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Triton hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as C.B. Aycock struck out seven times.

Triton pushed their record up to 15-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Southern Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 18-6-1.
