Basketball Recap: Quad Cities Christian Eagles vs. Unity Christian Knights

The Quad Cities Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Unity Christian 73-26 on the road. Quad Cities Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 24 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Seth Karl, who scored 22 points along with six assists and six rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last four times he's played. Zeke Agbezouhlon was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Despite the defeat, Unity Christian had strong showings from Graham Foust, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds, and Carsen Bennett, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foust has scored all season.

Quad Cities Christian has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Unity Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Quad Cities Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Mustangs at 11:30 a.m. on February 3rd. Morning Star Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
