Volleyball Recap: Millry Takes a Loss

Millry lost against Washington County on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Millry ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 13 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 19-25, 15-13.

Millry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Washington County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millry will host Fruitdale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington County, they will welcome Chickasaw at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
