Commerce strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 38-33 W against the Franklin County Lions. The 38-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Commerce's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Niya Daniels led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Vi 'Tory Williams, who posted nine points and three steals.

Commerce's record now sits at 10-0. As for Franklin County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Commerce will be home for the holidays to greet Banks County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Franklin County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Woodmont at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
