Volleyball Recap: Upperman Bees vs. Valor College Prep Wildcats
Upperman barely beat Valor College Prep the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bees put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.
Upperman not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Valor College Prep between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 24-16.
Joey Restey paced Upperman's offense, picking up 11 kills. Restey got some help from Beau Naylor and his 17 assists. Restey was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
Upperman moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Valor College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
