Basketball Recap: West Hills Wolf Pack vs. Valhalla Norsemen
West Hills lost against Valhalla back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Hills Wolf Pack fell 61-52 to the Valhalla Norsemen. The Wolf Pack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
West Hills' loss came despite strong showings from Malekai Dillon and Ethan Shaw. Dillon posted 15 points in addition to five boards and three steals, while Shaw put up eight points and seven assists. Cameron Toups was another key player, going 6 for 12 on his way to 12 points.
Leading Valhalla to victory were Cole Davis and SAMEER MONQAD. Davis almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds, while MONQAD went 8 of 13 en route to 19 points. MONQAD's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Delon Hana, who earned five points and ten boards.
West Hills' record is now 8-13. As for Valhalla, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
West Hills has already played their next contest, a 74-71 win against Santana on the 24th. As for Valhalla, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 66-61 defeat against Granite Hills on the 24th.
