Volleyball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 7-25. As for Yankton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-15.

Douglas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Harrisburg on the 25th. As for Yankton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Rapid City Central on the 25th.
