Basketball Recap: Manning's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Manning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats.

Manning's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-7. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Manning and Laurence Manning Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings. Manning (ranked 203rd) will meet Dillon (ranked 43rd) at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Laurence Manning Academy will square off against Blythewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 102 places (104 vs. 2).
