Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Pittsburg's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Pittsburg won the last time they faced Antioch, and Terrance Wiley did his part to make sure it happened again. The Pittsburg Pirates took down the Antioch Panthers 61-44 on Tuesday thanks in part to Wiley, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 17 points along with eight boards and five assists. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (five).

Another player making a difference was Jermaine Earnest, who posted eight points and seven rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

Pittsburg has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Antioch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-13.

Pittsburg will take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Liberty's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 16 matches. As for Antioch, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Freedom at 7:00 p.m.
