Volleyball Recap: West Franklin Takes a Loss

West Franklin was the 3-1 winner over Riverton when they last played one another back in October of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Rams on Saturday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14.

Greelie McMahan paced West Franklin's offense, picking up four kills. McMahan really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven.

West Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 11-24. As for Riverton, their win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 35-4-1.

West Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Girard on the 25th.
