Soccer Recap: New London Takes a Loss

New London entered their match against Fox Valley Lutheran on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs came up short against the Foxes, falling 3-0. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for New London it sure didn't stay that way.

New London's loss dropped their record down to 11-2-1. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New London will take on Ashwaubenon at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. New London will be up against Ashwaubenon's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.22 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they will square off against Ripon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
