Soccer Game Preview: Eagle vs. Bishop Kelly

The Eagle Mustangs will head out to face off against the Bishop Kelly Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Eagle was handed a four-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They beat Boise by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Eagle as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Braden Vail and Trenn Marlett scored both of Eagle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Bishop Kelly made easy work of Meridian on Monday and carried off a 4-1 win. The victory continues a trend for Bishop Kelly in their matchups with Meridian: they've now won four in a row.

Bishop Kelly now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Eagle, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-3.
