Carroll County entered their tilt with Alleghany on Tuesday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They strolled past the Alleghany Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-65 back in January.

Carroll County pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for Alleghany, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Carroll County will take on Radford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carroll County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Radford likes a good challenge. As for Alleghany, they will welcome Rustburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
