Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Takes a Loss

Forsyth lost against Miller on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Cardinals.

Gabrielle Thompson paced Forsyth's offense, picking up seven kills. Thompson got some help from Gianni Oldham and her 15 assists. Alex Lawrence controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Camden Stockton, who had three digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 7-23-4. As for Miller, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 28-4-1.

Forsyth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Willow Springs on the 21st. As for Miller, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Sarcoxie on the 25th.
