Basketball Game Preview: Platteview Trojans vs. Yutan Chieftains

Having just played yesterday, the Platteview Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Yutan Chieftains at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Platteview lost to Wahoo at home by a 38-22 margin. The Trojans have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Yutan unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 40-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Douglas County West.

Platteview's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Yutan, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Platteview ended up a good deal behind Yutan in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, losing 61-43. Can Platteview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
