With a playoff win on the line, Greenfield/Northwestern rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars 42-40. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won six matches in a row.

Greenfield/Northwestern had a senior duo take command as Wyatt Stuart posted 12 points and seven boards and Talon Albrecht went 5-for-10 en route to 17 points. Stuart is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Griffin Rothe, who put up four points.

Greenfield/Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 23-10. As for West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs], the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 27-8 record.
