Soccer Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Connersville Spartans, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Centerville of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Connersville, they pushed their record up to 6-5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Centerville will welcome Muncie Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centerville will be up against Muncie Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
