Recap: Springfield Christian Academy vs. Community Baptist Christian Kings
On Tuesday, Springfield Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Community Baptist Christian and lost 49-30. Springfield Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Community Baptist Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kade Hunt led the charge by scoring 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Williams, who scored 13 points.
Springfield Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Community Baptist Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakecrest Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Community Baptist Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Juniata Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Juniata Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday.
