Basketball Recap: Pasco Comes Up Short

Pasco and Zephyrhills squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Pasco had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Zephyrhills Bulldogs and fell 58-20. The loss leaves the Pirates without a win on the season.

Pasco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Zephyrhills, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Pasco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Zephyrhills, they will take on Wesley Chapel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Zephyrhills' defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Wesley Chapel's offense will have their work cut out for them.
