Soccer Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Elizabeth's Third in Last Four Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ponderosa, Elizabeth was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Denver Academy Mustangs by a score of 5-3. The high-scoring effort was just what Elizabeth needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

They hit Denver Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landon Tobler (2), Kyle Garwood, Luke Ferland, and Emmanuel Lopez Alva.

Elizabeth is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Denver Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Elizabeth will head out on the road to square off against Weld Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Denver Academy, they will be playing at home against Nederland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
