Meanwhile, South Glens Falls entered their game against Broadalbin-Perth on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 5-3. Surprisingly, this marked the Bulldogs' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Ethan Ford was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run. Jameson DeLancey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Niskayuna pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for South Glens Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
