Softball Recap: Costa Mesa Comes Up Short

Costa Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the West Covina Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Wednesday.

Costa Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for West Covina, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Costa Mesa will take on University at 3:15 p.m. on March 24th. As for West Covina, they will head out to challenge San Dimas at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
