Soccer Recap: Lindbergh Comes Up Short

Lindbergh's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Marquette Mustangs by a score of 2-1. Lindbergh were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Marquette apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Lindbergh and nudges their season record down to 6-8-1. As for Marquette, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lindbergh will face off against Ladue Horton Watkins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marquette, they will be playing at home against Kirkwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kirkwood's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
