Basketball Recap: Parkway West Takes a Loss

Parkway West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Girard Academic Music Program Pioneers. If the HOYAS were looking for revenge after losing 59-53 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Among those leading the charge was Jovanni Romeo, who posted 23 points. Sam Liu was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Parkway West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Girard Academic Music Program, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Parkway West has already played their next contest, a 47-23 loss against Randolph Vo-Tech on the 16th. As for Girard Academic Music Program, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 63-30 defeat against Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush on the 16th.
