Macksville skates past Kinsley with ease

The Macksville Mustangs stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Kinsley at home to the tune of 53-19. The victory was nothing new for Macksville as they're now sitting on three straight.

Macksville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mayce Russell, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and six steals. Russell hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Sanders, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.

Macksville's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Kinsley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Macksville will head out on the road to face off against Bucklin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Macksville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Kinsley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ellinwood on Friday. Ellinwood is coming into the contest with three straight losses on the road, meaning Kinsley will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
