Basketball Game Preview: Slocum Mustangs vs. Coolidge Yellowjackets

Slocum has won three straight games at home, while Coolidge has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Slocum is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging an 89-29 victory over Trinidad. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Coolidge humbled Trinidad with a 62-10 victory.

Slocum's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Coolidge, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.

Slocum skirted past Coolidge 57-54 when the teams last played on January 9th. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
